Who I Am

I’m Paul McCloud, the owner and math tutor at Math Mastery Tutoring, LLC. I tutor because I like math and have a passion for supporting students who feel overwhelmed and who would benefit from personalized, one-on-one instruction. Through years of math tutoring, I’ve learned that many students understand math better when they have time to think, ask questions, and work through ideas at their own pace.

My Approach

My approach focuses on helping students build a clear understanding, not just complete assignments. The tutoring emphasizes reasoning, problem-solving, and making connections so students can apply what they learn with confidence.

Each student’s needs are different. Some students benefit from structured learning plans, while others need targeted support for specific skills, coursework, or upcoming assessments. Instruction is flexible and adjusted to align with the student’s goals and progress.

At the core of my tutoring is a simple belief: with patience, clear instruction, and encouragement, students can grow in both confidence and ability.
